These terms apply to using Aperta and to orders shipped outside Israel. Using the site, or sending an order, means you accept them. Orders shipped within Israel are governed by the Hebrew terms on the Hebrew site.

Price, currency and payment
Prices for orders shipped outside Israel are in US dollars: a bracelet is $135 and a ring is $99, before shipping. Shipping is $25 to the United States and the European Union and $40 to the other countries we ship to. The total is calculated from the country the order ships to and shown before you send the order. Nothing is charged when the order is sent: we confirm the details with you by email and arrange payment, and production starts only after that. Your bank may charge a currency-conversion fee.
Import duties, taxes and customs
The price does not include import duties, taxes (such as VAT, GST or sales tax on imports) or customs and brokerage fees charged by the destination country. These are paid by the buyer, usually to the carrier on delivery, and are not refunded by us. If a parcel is returned to us because they were not paid, we'll contact you to arrange delivery again; the additional shipping is paid by the buyer.
Production and delivery
Every piece is made to order. Production takes 14 business days from when the order is confirmed; it then ships with tracking to the address you gave. Delivery time depends on the destination and on customs there. Please make sure the address is complete and correct — a parcel returned because of a wrong address is re-sent at the buyer's cost.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
You can cancel the order and receive a full refund at any point until production starts. Production starts only after you have approved the final cutting file, so this window is real and not a technicality: as long as you haven't approved it, there is nothing to cancel, and anything paid is refunded in full. Once the cutting file is approved, the piece is cut specifically for you, and — like goods made to the consumer's specifications under Israel's Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 2010 — it can't be cancelled. This does not limit your full rights in the case of a defect, a mismatch with the approved design, or a significant delay in delivery: there, the repair, replacement or refund is at our expense, including shipping in both directions (import duties and taxes charged by your country are not included). Cancellation is made by writing to the email address below and will be answered in writing. Refunds are made to the same means of payment, within 14 days of the notice.
The service
The site lets you design a brass bracelet or ring with AI tools — or receive a design that an AI agent prepared on your behalf — and order it to be made. A design is a proposal; actual production is subject to review and to separate confirmation.
Intellectual property
The tools, the code and the brand belong to Aperta. A design you created remains yours for your own use; you may not upload content that infringes the rights of a third party.
Responsibility for production
The piece is made by us or under our responsibility, and responsibility for the quality of production is ours. The piece we ship matches the approved design, within the usual tolerances of cutting and rolling, and passes a quality check before shipping. If a manufacturing or material defect is found — repair, replacement or refund, at your choice. The design tools and the automatic manufacturability check are provided as-is; this applies to the tools only and does not limit our responsibility for the piece that leaves us.
Delicate designs and breakage
The system allows designs as delicate as can be manufactured: every design is checked against production limits, and what wouldn't survive cutting and rolling is blocked or corrected. Passing the check means the design can be made and will stand up to reasonable use — it is not a promise that the piece can't break. The more delicate the design, the thinner the bridges and the less forgiving the metal. There is no warranty for breakage, deformation, cracking or loss of shape caused by a knock, a fall, pressure, repeated bending, snagging or unreasonable use, nor for natural wear.
Care
Some metals need care. Depending on the metal of the piece, take proper care of it as described on the card that comes with it. Natural change of tone (patina) in brass and other copper-based metals is a property of the material, not a defect. Damage caused by lack of care or wrong care — tarnish, stains, corrosion, or harm from cleaning products, cosmetics or chlorine — is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered.
